It is made of neoprene material and anatomically designed. The silicon pad, which applies slight pressure from the lateral of the patella to the medial, provides the stabilization of the patella in the lateral patella dislocation or half dislocations. The compression it applies helps to keep the patella inside the patella-femoral groove. Spiral underwire in the medial and lateral increases the stability around the joint.
